Integrated analysis, not isolated measures
The Review considers educational, operational, workforce and financial information together. It identifies relative strengths, areas requiring attention and questions that may warrant further investigation.
Designed for professional judgement
A comparative result is not, by itself, a judgement that a school is good or bad. It provides evidence about where the school differs from its peers and where leadership or governance attention may be useful.
Clear measure definitions
The Review uses Implied Teacher Contact Ratio for the nationally comparable proxy derived from published DfE Pupil:Teacher Ratio and Average Class Size data. It is distinct from a timetable-derived ICFP Teacher Contact Ratio.
